Eastspring Investments has been a core enabler of our business for over 30 years. As Prudential’s in-house asset manager, Eastspring provides a significant competitive edge through its deep-rooted presence and investment expertise across 10 Asian markets.
With a ~400-strong investment team on the ground, Eastspring is ranked among the top 10 asset managers in six key Asian markets*. This regional strength is further extended through distribution offices in the Americas and Europe, enabling clients around the world to access Asia’s diverse markets and opportunities.
Eastspring serves as Prudential’s in-house manager of our life insurance assets and is a key driver of value. It diversifies our income streams while allowing us to maintain control of the full investment management value chain. Its close integration with the Life business enables the design of tailored investment solutions for our customers. By extending these capabilities to third-party clients, we are also able to scale further and generate incremental revenue for the Group.
As a high-return, fee-based business, Eastspring plays a pivotal role in advancing Prudential’s strategic priorities. It supports our sustainability ambitions - including our 2025 net zero commitment - while generating economies of scale. With deep regional insight and investment capabilities, Eastspring is uniquely positioned to create synergies across our insurance and wealth businesses. As we continue to expand our wealth offerings and grow our asset management platform, Eastspring remains central to delivering long-term value for our customers and shareholders.
