Announcing the Launch of the SAFE STEPS
D-Tech Awards 2025
We are thrilled to announce the return of the SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards for its fourth iteration in 2025! The awards is now open for applications, inviting innovators from around the globe to showcase their groundbreaking technology solutions that enhance disaster resilience. This year, the Awards will take place on 11 June and offer over $150,000 in cash prizes, live pitch opportunities at Echelon Singapore 2025, and AWS cloud technology support for all finalists.
The SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards, created by the Prudence Foundation, aims to find and support technology solutions that can make a significant impact before, during, or after natural disasters. By focusing on Climate & Health and Smart Resilience, the awards seek to address real-world challenges and promote innovative approaches to disaster preparedness and response.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners who make this initiative possible: the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and E27. Their support and collaboration are instrumental in driving the success of the SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards.
Together, we can strengthen community resilience and save lives through innovative disaster technology. If you are working on a solution that can make a difference, we encourage you to apply now. The application deadline is March 21, 2025. Don't miss this opportunity to gain funding, mentorship, and global recognition for your work.
