At the sidelines of the 2025 World Health Assembly in Geneva, Prudence Foundation proudly co-hosted a high-level closed-door side event with the WHO Foundation titled “Enhancing Population Health Resilience to Climate Change: The Role of Insurance.”
This timely dialogue brought together global leaders from health, finance, and development to explore how insurance can be a powerful tool in building climate-resilient communities. Speakers including Dr. Sandro Demaio (WHO ACE), Francesca Krist (Women’s World Banking), Lisa Morgan (ILO Impact Insurance Facility), Michal Matul (AXA EssentiALL) and Nicole Ngeow (Prudence Foundation) shared insights on how insurance can go beyond risk coverage to promote healthier behaviours, support climate adaptation, and drive inclusive innovation.
