We have been made aware that customers of financial services organisations have been contacted by fraudsters claiming to work for Prudential plc and offering financial products including cryptocurrency, investment bonds and credit insurance. We do not offer financial products of this nature within the UK.
Established brands are often targeted by fraudsters to add the appearance of legitimacy to their crimes. This can take many forms but often fraudsters will impersonate representatives of the company. They will frequently use falsified material (email addresses, websites, etc.) that uses the branding and intellectual property of the company as a tool for such impersonation.
