Prudential Celebrates 175th Anniversary with Gala Dinner
Hong Kong – 30 May, 2023 – To celebrate the 175th anniversary of Prudential plc (Prudential) as well as the centenary of its establishment in Asia, the leading insurance provider held a gala dinner themed “Celebrating Life” this evening in Hong Kong, which was attended by company officials, government representatives, industry leaders, partners and members of the local business community.
The Honorable John KC Lee, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People’s Republic of China, spoke to the attendees of the dinner via video broadcast: “Over the years, Prudential has supported millions of people in managing everyday risks and building a fulfilling future.
“The protection and assurance you have offered to customers, in spite of the health and economic challenges faced by society, was a testament to insurance delivering its essential social value.”

This follows an announcement of its lead sponsorship to bring “DOUBLE DUCKS by Florentijn Hofman” to Hong Kong, and the distribution of 1,750 free tickets for THE FUNFAIR Prudential 175th Anniversary Music Festival.
