Prudential plc recognised in top tier of CCLA’s Corporate Mental Health Benchmark
Prudential plc (“Prudential”) has been recognised as a Tier 1 organisation in the 2025 CCLA Corporate Mental Health Benchmark, reflecting its continued commitment to supporting mental wellbeing in the workplace.
Established in 2022, the annual benchmark evaluates the UK’s largest listed businesses on how they manage and report on the risks and opportunities associated with workplace mental health. Among the 100 companies assessed, Prudential is one of only 10 to achieve Tier 1 status. This recognition highlights its strength in safeguarding staff mental health through strong management commitment, effective corporate policies, innovative initiatives, and transparent performance reporting.
Anil Wadhwani, Chief Executive Officer, Prudential plc, said: “Wellbeing is key to fostering a workplace where everyone feels supported and cared for. We are committed to raising mental health awareness, providing access to support resources, and creating a safe and inclusive work environment for all.”
Prudential offers a comprehensive suite of resources to support employees’ mental health and wellbeing, including medical benefits, a digital wellbeing coaching app, and flexible work arrangements.
As part of its two-year sponsorship of the “This is Me” campaign, Prudential encourages employees across the organisation to share their personal mental health stories. The initiative aims to reduce stigma and promote open conversations around mental health. In addition to internal initiatives, Prudential is actively fostering external change by sharing best practices with other organisations and contributing to the community – amplifying its impact and advocating for mental health across sectors.
Catherine Chia, Chief Human Resources Officer, Prudential plc, said: “At Prudential, we value a culture of openness, honesty, and accountability. By investing in our people’s mental, physical, social, and financial wellbeing, we empower them to thrive – for themselves, our customers, and our community.”
